code entry
Upon switching on, the display will show 'code entry', followed by a figure relating to the number of attempts left and four dashes i.e. 10 . Enter the four digit security code using the station presets 1-4, followed by pressing the AS button, until the set operates.
deactivating the code
Press and hold the AS button and turn on the radio. The word 'CODE' will shortly appear. This will be followed by, for example, 10 . Enter the code as described above.
reactivating the code
Press and hold the AS button and turn on the radio. The word 'CODE' will shortly appear, followed by . Enter the code as previously described. It should be noted that, whenever an attempt is made at turning on or off the code function, a limited amount of time is available to input the code, after which the process will have to be repeated.
