code entry
After switching on the display will show code entry followed by 1 -. Enter the four digit code using preset keys 1 - 4 followed by pressing (and holding) 'U' key for a few seconds. The display will then show code entry briefly and the set will operate.
deactivating the code
Press and hold keys U, preset 1 and preset 4 together. Display will show code entry followed by 1 -. Enter code as above. Display will show CODE briefly and switch on. The code has now been turned off.
activating the code
To reactivate the code follow the procedure outlined above. Display will show CODE followed by 1 -. Upon correct entry of the code the display will show code entry and the set will operate.
