code entry
After switching on the radio will display ROVER followed by CODE. Press station preset 1 and enter first code digit using station increment/decrement keys. Follow the same procedure for the remaining three code digits, finally pressing preset 1 once more to enter the code.
deactivating the code
Switch the set on while holding in the station increment key. The display will show CODE briefly and the set will emit two beeps. The code is now off.
reactivating the code
Follow the procedure as outlined for deactivation of the code only this time the set will emit one beep indicating that the code is now turned on.
