activating the code
Press and hold station increment button while turning the set on until set emits a beep from the speaker. The code is now active.
code entry
Press the P1 key when the display shows 'CODE' and press the station increment key until you reach the first code digit. Press P1 again and follow the above procedure until the last digit has been entered and finally press P1 once more. Assuming the correct code has been entered the set will begin to operate.
deactivating the code
Press the station increment button while turning the set on. The display will show 'CODE'. Enter the code as above and press the station increment button again. The display will show 'PROTECTION DEACT' and the radio will operate.
