code entry
On powering up the radio, the display will show 'CODE'. Enter the four digit code via the station presets 1-4 followed by pressing station preset 5.
deactivating the code
Press station preset 5 and switch the set on. The display will show 'CODE'. Enter the security code followed by pressing preset 5 again. Display will now show 'CLR' indicating that the code function is turned off.
activating the code
Press preset 5 and turn the set on. The display will show the word 'CODE'. Enter the code and press preset 5. The display will show 'CODE' briefly and will operate.
