code entry
After switching on the set will display its checksum number followed by 'code entry', then 1 .. .. .. .. Enter the code using preset keys 1 - 4 followed by pressing and holding in the FM key to accept. The set will again display 'code entry' and operate.
deactivating the code
While the radio is operating, press and hold in the FM key until 'code entry' is displayed. This will be followed by 1 .. .. .. .. Enter the code as described above. 'CODE' will display briefly indicating that the code has been turned off.
reactivating the code
With the set operating, press and hold in the FM key. 'CODE' will be displayed followed by .. .. .. .. Enter the code as above and 'code entry' will display indicating that the code is now active.
