code entry
After switching on, the set will display 'CODE' which will be flashing. Enter the code using preset keys 1 - 6. For numbers higher than 6, use the function keys. After entry of the last code digit, press the TAPE PLAY button. 'PASS' will display and the set will operate.
Changing the Code
Switch on while pressing PRESET SCAN. 'CODE' will be displayed. Enter the code as above and 'PASS' will be displayed. While PASS is showing, press the LOUDNESS/BALANCE button. The message 'CODE' will flash on the display. You may now enter a code number of your choice. Changing the code to 0000 will deactivate the security function.
