code entry
After switching on, the set will display 'CODE' which will be flashing. Enter the code using presets 1 - 6. For numbers higher than 6, use the function keys. After entry of the last code digit, press the BAND SELECT/RELEASE button. 'PASS' will be displayed and the set will operate.
Changing the Code
Press the CLEAR button while switching on. 'CODE' will be displayed. Enter the code as above and 'PASS' will display. While PASS is showing, press both VOLUME + and - keys. The message 'CODE' will flash in the display. You may now enter a code number of your choice.
