activating the code
Press SEARCH UP button while switching set on. Radio will emit a beep through the speaker and display will show 'C' briefly.
code entry
Press PRESET UP button when the display shows -. Now press SEARCH UP until you reach the first code digit. Press PRESET UP again and follow the above procedure until the last digit has been entered and finally press PRESET UP once again. If the correct code has been entered the set will emit a beep and will begin to operate.
deactivating the code
Press the SEARCH UP button and switch the set on. The display will show 'C'. At this point enter the code as described above. The set will now operate normally but with its code turned off.
