activating the code
While holding in the P UP button, switch the radio on. The radio will mute and the display will show 'CODE'
code entry
Switch the set on and press the P UP button. Now press the station increment button until you reach the first code digit. Press P UP again and follow the above procedure until the last digit has been entered and finally press P UP once more. The set will operate for approximately5 minutes and will possibly be interrupted by beeps. DO NOT SWITCH OFF THE SET. After the 5 minutes has elapsed a beep will be heard and the radio will function normally.
deactivating the code
Switch the set on while holding in the P DOWN button. The radio will mute and the display will show 'CODE' Enter the code as described above.
