activating the code
Press and hold station increment button while turning the set on. A two tone beep will be heard from the speaker. Whenever the radio is switched on, the character 'C' will be displayed showing that the radios code is now active.
code entry
Switch on the radio and the display will show 'C'. Press the P1 button followed by the station increment button until you reach the first code digit. Press P1 again and follow the above procedure until the last digit has been entered and finally press P1 once more. The set will emit a confirmation beep from the speaker and will begin to operate.
deactivating the code
Switch the set on while pressing the station increment button. The display will show the character 'C' Enter the security code as above and the radio will emit a two tone beep twice, indicating that the code is now turned off.
