After switching on the set will display 'COD'. This may be entered by first pressing the memlock key followed by the up/down key for the first digit. Repeat this procedure for the remaining 3 code digits. The set will operate after the last code digit has been entered.

deactivating the code

Switch on the set while holding the up key and 'COD' will flash briefly. Enter the code as described above. The display will show 'COD 0' indicating that the code has been turned off.

reactivating the code

After switching on, the set will display 'COD 0' briefly followed by 'COD'. Enter the code as described in Code Entry above and the display will show 'COD 1' as confirmation that the set is now secure.
