After switching on the display shows CODE which will be flashing. Press the SCAN and AUTO-M keys together and should display. Enter the code via preset keys 1 - 4 followed by pressing the SCAN and AUTO-M keys again for a few seconds. CODE should display again which will be flashing slowly followed by the clock display. Pressing the on-off button will now power up the radio.
