code entry
After switching on the set will display 'CODE' which will be flashing. Press both SCAN and AUTO M keys. The display will now show .. .. .. .. Enter the code using presets 1 - 4 followed by pressing SCAN and AUTO M keys again. 'CODE' will display and will flash 3 times (slowly) and the set will switch off. Press the power switch to operate the radio.
deactivating the code
Press and hold both SCAN and AUTO M keys while switching the set on. 'CODE' will flash in the display. Press both SCAN and AUTO M keys again until the display changes to .. .. .. .. Enter the code as described above and 'CODE' will display (constant) for a few seconds, then the set will switch off and is uncoded.
reactivating the code
Adopt the same procedure as for deactivating the code. After the code has been entered, the display will flash 'CODE' 3 times. The set is coded and will switch off.
