code entry
On powering up the radio, the display will show 'CODE'. Enter the security code via the station presets 1-4 followed by pressing the station increment button.
deactivating the code
Hold in the station preset buttons 1 and 4 and switch on the radio. Enter the code followed by pressing the station increment button. The display will show 'CLR' and the code will be turned off.
activating the code
Hold in the station preset buttons 1-4 and switch the set on. Display will show 'CODE' briefly and will operate.
