Powering up this model will cause the display to show 'COD'. Enter the 4 digit code via the station presets 1-4 followed by pressing the station increment key. The first digit entered will alternate between 1 and 0 but the rest of the code can be 0 through 9.
deactivating the code
This may be accomplished by holding in presets 1 and 4 and switching on the radio. The word 'COD' will be displayed. Enter the code and the set will operate.
activating the code
Hold in station presets 1 and 4, power up the radio and 'COD' will be displayed briefly. The code function will now be active and the set will operate.
