When the unit is switched on ENTER or CODE is displayed. Select the first digit of your code by pressing the [<<] or [>>] buttons.

When the correct number is displayed, press the [FM] or [AM] buttons to move the display to the next digit. Repeat until the whole code is entered.

To confirm the security code, press and hold the [>>] button for at least three seconds. APPROVED will then be displayed on the screen.

if the wrong code has been entered

If you enter the wrong code, WAITING is displayed and you cannot make another attempt to enter the code for a fixed period of time (which grows longer with each unsuccessful attempt). When CODE is displayed you can try again.

  • First wrong input - retry immediately
  • Second wrong input - wait five minutes
  • Third wrong input - wait one hour
  • Fourth wrong input - wait twenty-four hours
  • Fifth wrong input - send to Blue-ICE for reprogramming

removing the unit

First remove the hard rubber frame:

Remove the faceplate then engage the catch pins on the removal tool (the 'release key' - see the link on the right if you need to purchase) and remove the two locks on the upper level. Push the frame upwards and pull it forward as shown in the figure.

When the upper level is removed, remove the lower two locations.

NB The frame can be removed from the bottom side in the same manner.

Remove the hex-head screw with integral washer on the back panel, then insert the two removal tools deeply into the slots on each side, as shown:

Push the removal tool upwards towards the top and pull the unit out halfway, whilst pressing towards the inside.

NB Be careful to avoid injury from the catch pins on the removal tool.

Pull the unit all the way out with your hands, being careful not to drop it.
