After switching on, the display will show 'code entry' followed by 1 indicating the minimum timer lock. Enter the code using station preset keys 1 to 4 and press the FM key for a few seconds. 'code entry' will display briefly and the set will operate.

Press and hold the FM key for a few seconds. 'code entry' will display briefly followed by 1 . Enter the code as described above and the display will show 'CODE' briefly, indicating that the code has been disabled.
