Upon switching the set on, the display may show a vehicle registration number, if one had been previously entered. Press the SELECT button once and the set will display 'CODE' . Enter the four digit code via the station preset keys 1-4, followed by again pressing SELECT and the set will now operate. NOTE
It is not possible to turn off the code function.
Entering a Vehicle Registration Number
Enter the code as described above and press SELECT plus preset 1. The set will now require re-entry of the security code. After the code has been entered, press the VOLUME + or - key to scan through the range of alphanumeric characters available for the first digit. Now press the SEEK + or - key to move on to the next character and repeat the above process until finished. Finally, press the SELECT key to enter and store the data.
