Ford EP-32S Radio/Cassette
code entry
The Ford standard range of radios and radio/cassettes all employ the same method of Code Entry, as follows; Power up the set and the word CODE followed by - will appear in the display. These three dashes should be flashing. Enter the three digit code using station presets 1-3, followed by preset 4, to accept the code and the set should function. If, after switching the radio on, the three dashes do not flash, then 3 or more incorrect code entries have been attempted. If a number 10 appears in the display, then ten incorrect codes have been tried and the set will have locked permanently. In either of the above cases, reading the code with the A-400 will reset the timer lock and allow the set to function normally. It should be noted that it is not possible to turn off the code function via the front panel of these radios.
